For this personal project, I was trying out a more painterly style and using abstract backgrounds. I was specifically focusing on my usage of colors and studying how my love of saturation in hues lead into the mood and tone of the piece. The characters are some of my original designs and exist in a seventies setting, hence the retro aesthetic.
